This week's picks for Kyiv

Robert Pattinson leads this 2026 thriller about a high-stakes television sting that goes fatally wrong and curdles into a nightmare of performative justice. Director Lance Oppenheim keeps the pressure coiled and the stakes brutal, and it carries an 8.7 on IMDb and 86% on Rotten Tomatoes. It is playing in English in Kyiv, and the claustrophobic tension lands harder on a big screen.

Steven Spielberg turns a true story of charm and reinvention into pure pleasure, with Leonardo DiCaprio always one playful step ahead of Tom Hanks across a world of forged checks and borrowed identities. It is witty, warm, and endlessly stylish, the kind of returning classic that leaves you grinning and talking the whole way home. Sitting at 96% on Rotten Tomatoes, it is an irresistible night in each other's company.
